About the Project
This initiative is designed to empower young people with entrepreneurial, digital, and career management skills by integrating the Social Student Companies (SSC) approach into schools. Through hands-on business activities, students identify and solve local or global social issues, gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and leadership.
What is a Social Student Company (SSC)?A Social Student Company is a student-led business activity within an educational institution (school, college, or technical school). With the guidance of a curator (teacher, entrepreneur, or parent), students produce and sell goods or services to address real social challenges.
This practical, innovative approach connects students with real-world business experience, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving while equipping them with career-ready skills.
Our Objectives
- Encourage youth participation in democratic life and labor markets.
- Foster social entrepreneurship education and practical business skills.
- Strengthen career management, digital, and green transition competencies.
- Build strong partnerships between schools, civil society organizations, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
Project Target Groups & Beneficiaries
✔ Students (ages 14–18) and their parents
✔ High schools, vocational & secondary education institutions
✔ Teachers, youth workers, and civil society organizations (CSOs)
✔ Social enterprises, businesses, and youth clubs
✔ Government authorities at regional & national levels
Key Project Activities
✔ Educational Platform & Training of Trainers (ToT)
🔹 Development of an online educational platform to support SSC learning.
🔹 Training 20 trainers to mentor and guide students in social entrepreneurship.
🔹 Creation of SSC-specific educational materials for schools and organizations.
✔ Hands-On Learning & Business Development
🔹 300+ students trained through 1-day workshops in 15 schools.
🔹 120 students undergo 6–8 day intensive training courses at 6 schools.
🔹 6 social business ideas will receive financial support to launch.
🔹 Internship opportunities provided for 20 young people to gain real-world experience.
✔ Policy & Ecosystem Development
🔹 Creation of a methodological guide on SSC for future integration into education systems.
🔹 Advocacy & cooperation with national education authorities for long-term sustainability.
🔹 International exchanges, study visits, and summer schools to strengthen cross-border collaboration.
