𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚

CODE Social Entrepreneurship Hub (Armenia), ChildFund Deutschland (Germany), School of ME (Ukraine), EcoVisio (Moldova) and Education Development and Employment Center (Georgia) have launched "Fostering Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Practical Career Management Skills in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia through the Innovative Social Student Companies (SSC) Approach" project which is funded by the European Union under its EU4Youth Programme.

The project will be implemented until the end of June 2025 with the overall objective to foster youth social entrepreneurship and develop youth’s career management skills, digital skills and skills needed for green transition through the innovative educational concept SSC, with the integral involvement of civil society actors, authorities and entrepreneurs at local, regional and national levels.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭:

Social student company (SSC) is defined as “a business activity to solve local or global social problems by students of an educational institution (school, college etc.) with the assistance of a senior curator (teacher, entrepreneur, one of the parents), which includes the production and sale of goods or services.” This is a genre of SE education where school students learn the concept of SE by developing and practicing their own SSC, through this schools become local hubs for social entrepreneurial activity and young people learn to identify social/ecological problems and local resources, generate income, become active, innovative and resilient citizens and increase their employability as well as agility.

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭:

The project activities include:

• focus groups,
• creation of online portal,
• training of trainers,
• creating teaching materials,
• incubation with schools,
• internship programme for young people in social enterprises,
• awareness campaign on SSC and social impact investing,
• development of methodological guide,
• international study visits and conference, etc.
