From March 22-24, 20 representatives from schools, colleges, NGOs and youth centers in Armenia came together for a 3-day Training of Trainers session focused on Student Social Companies (SSC).
Under the guidance of skilled trainers, participants delved into the significance of student social companies, cultivating a culture of collaboration, and mastering essential competencies crucial for success in this domain.
"Student social companies represent a new concept in our public schools. By empowering students to construct the foundations of social entrepreneurship, we are nurturing a generation capable of offering innovative solutions to the pressing social issues in their communities," shared a participant.
This three-day course on SSCs sets the stage for future collaborations. In the upcoming sessions, participants will showcase their ideas and explore avenues for the advancement of SSC. Upon completing these courses, participants-turned-trainers will leverage their knowledge, experiences, and skills to inspire and educate young minds about the potential of SSC. Together, we're paving the way for a brighter, more socially conscious future
The “Fostering Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Practical Career Management Skills through the Innovative Social Student Companies (SSC) Approach” project is funded by the European Union under its EU4Youth Programme.
